For the fifth consecutive year, Shannon Airport will transform its Departures Hall to host the Explore Engineering Showcase. This year’s event is scheduled for Thursday, 5th March 2026.
Students and parents can engage with over 60 engineering companies from across the Mid-West region.
The showcase highlights the strong link between engineering and aviation, featuring major industry players such as Atlantic Aviation Group and Lufthansa Technik Turbine Shannon.
Attendees can explore various career routes, including apprenticeships, training programs, and third-level degrees from regional educational institutions.
The event includes live demonstrations and activities designed to spark creativity and problem-solving skills in future talent.

- Cost: Free admission for all attendees.
- Parking: Free parking is provided at the airport for the duration of the event.
