Sisk has secured a €50m contract for the expansion of Center Parcs Longford Forest, with construction now underway.
The project will create 300 jobs during construction and an additional 250 permanent jobs once operational.
The new development is expected to increase the resort’s capacity to 3,500 guests per break while remaining open during construction. Between April 2023 and April 2024, the resort generated €58m for the Irish economy and welcomed 260,700 guests.
Sustainability is a key focus, with measures including an air-source heat pump network and energy-efficient facilities being implemented.

Leanne Broderick shared “Sisk is delighted to win the Center Parcs extension project. This is a significant project win for us. We look forward to working with the Center Parcs team again and extending its state-of-the-art facilities. “Sustainability and the protection of the local environment have been at the forefront of the development planning.”
Daragh Feighery shared “Longford Forest continues to go from strength to strength and, in a short time, has become a firm favourite with families across Ireland.”
