Southwest Airlines has begin to offer trans-Atlantic service through a partnership with Condor Airlines.

The interline agreement connected Southwest’s US network with Condor’s Frankfurt hub from 19 January 2026. It enabled same-ticket bookings through key US gateways like Boston, Las Vegas, and Seattle.

The partnership marked Southwest’s fifth global alliance and its first entry into continental Europe. Andrew Watterson said the arrangement brought transatlantic services to dozens of US airports served by the low cost carrier.

Andrew Watterson, Southwest Airlines Chief Operating Officer shared, “Adding Condor to our portfolio of partners brings transatlantic journeys between dozens of airports in the U.S. and exciting and aspirational places Condor serves.”

Mikko Turtiainen, Condor’s Director of Sales for the Americas shared, “With the expansion of Condor’s partner network in North America, travelers benefit from a wider range of seamless and convenient travel options.”
