The Star Princess, built by Fincantieri, completed its sea trials and is set to welcome guests on October 4, 2025, from Barcelona.
Captain Gennaro Arma, who has 27 years of experience at Princess Cruises, oversaw the successful sea trials. The ship is the second in the fleet powered by LNG and features advanced Azipod propulsion for enhanced maneuverability.
Star Princess will include 30 dining venues, entertainment options, and a variety of accommodations, with 1,500 balcony staterooms.
Its inaugural season will include cruises to the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Panama Canal, and Alaska, with bookings now available.
Captain Gennaro Arma shared “we confidently led the Star Princess through sea trials. I’m extremely impressed with the ship’s navigation capabilities and maneuverability.”
