Sarah West has been appointed as the new Managing Director Ports at Stena Line, effective January 2026.
The appointment aligns with Stena Line’s strategy to enhance port operations and reflects significant investment in infrastructure across Ireland and Europe. Carl-Johan Hellner, Chief Operating Officer Ports & Terminals, expressed enthusiasm for West’s leadership and the commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
With over 30 years of experience in the maritime sector, Sarah has held key roles, including CEO of Harwich Haven Authority and COO at the Port of Dover during challenging times. West noted the transformative phase Stena Line is in and expressed excitement about collaborating with the team to implement future plans for the company.
