Around 7,000 Finnair passengers will have their flights cancelled due to planned strikes at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport on July 2, 2025. Casualties include Dublin to Helsinki AY1386@18.00 & inbound AY1385.
The Finnish Aviation Union confirmed that industrial action will affect essential ground services, and Finnair is unable to provide flight cancellation information for strike dates.
Passengers with bookings for July 4 and 7, 2025, are encouraged to change their travel dates amid upcoming disruptions.
Finnair previously cancelled 143 flights in June 2025 in response to planned strikes, indicating ongoing challenges with labour disruptions
A spokesperson for Finnair shared, “The potential impacts of these actions are still being assessed, so Finnair’s Customer Service is unable to provide information about possible flight cancellations.”
