SWISS has revamped the inflight experience for economy and premium economy passengers on long-haul flights as of yesterday.
New offerings include a welcome aperitif and improved pre-landing meals served on a tray or in a reusable bento box.
An expanded range of snacks will be available during flights, with additional food offered by cabin crew on select services.
The airline introduced eco-friendly pillows and blankets made from 100% recycled materials along with enhanced headphones.
The debut of the SWISS Senses cabin interiors will occur on the first A350-900 later this year, featuring premium amenities like direct aisle access seats.
SWISS chief commercial officer Heike Birlenbach, shared: “These new product and service highlights will tangibly enhance the air travel experience for our economy class and our premium economy class guests. Taken together, they represent one of the biggest service investments in the history of our company. And they bring us a further step forward in providing our customers with a quality air travel experience that is hallmarked by both Swissness and a devotion to detail, to help ensure that we consistently achieve our high premium aspirations.”
