
EVA Air introduced its fourth-generation premium economy class seat on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner fleet, with the first delivery occurring recently.
The reconfigured aircraft will feature 278 seats, including business, premium economy, and economy class configurations; this includes 28 new premium economy seats designed for comfort.
The initial route for the retrofitted 787-9 will connect Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport with Jakarta, with future destinations including Munich, Milan, Vienna, and San Francisco.
EVA Air, a pioneer of premium economy class since 1992, has additional orders for 787-9 and 787-10 aircraft, along with plans for A350-1000 and A321neo aircraft from 2027 onwards.
