The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is partnering with Thrust Carbon to expand the distribution network for its CO2 Connect emissions calculations, with the initiative set to launch in October 2024.

This collaboration aims to meet the corporate travel sector’s demand for accurate and comparable CO2 emissions calculations, essential for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) monitoring and reporting.

IATA CO2 Connect uses a standardized methodology based on actual operational data from airlines, which will be processed by Thrust Carbon to suit the specific needs of their corporate clients.

Thrust Carbon’s Founder highlighted that the partnership enhances access to consistent emissions data for corporate customers, allowing for more informed decisions in flight selection and better planning to meet carbon reduction goals.
