Tianguis Turístico México 2025 (TTM2025) has opened in Baja California with neighbouring San Diego featuring as a special guest city, enhancing the cross-border tourism connection between Mexico and the U.S. with over 1,100 buyers and 3,200 exhibitors participating.

With border issues dominating under the new regime in Washington DC, Tijuana authorities are investing in border infrastructure to enhance operations and public perception.

The proximity of San Diego meant many event attendees flew to San Diego and then cross the border, placing San Diego at the heart of the event’s logistics.

This year’s event features free public programming, including “La Ventana de Mexico en San Diego” at Liberty Station in San Diego and “Gran Taco de Mexico,” a culinary festival showcasing tacos from all 31 Mexican states and the federal district at the Tijuana Cultural Center.
