
Dublin Airport will offer 17.9m seats for winter 2025-2026, a 23pc increase from the 14.4m seats available last winter.
New routes for winter 2025-2026 which have not yet been confirmed include Tirana, Rabat, and, in the spring, a new Derry PSO route. It is customary for ailirne stop apply for slots for routes stil under negotiations which may not always be filled.
Aer Lingus will provide 4.7m seats, up by 560,000, while Ryanair will offer 7.54m seats, compared to 6.25m last winter. Ryanair hold 39pc of slots and Aer Lingus 23pc.
The Airport coordination group allocated 102,754 of 103,020 requested take-off and landing slots for the winter season (October 26 to March 28).
The 32m passenger cap, set in 2007 with Terminal 2’s construction, is currently paused due to a High Court decision, with the European Court of Justice reviewing slot allocation issues until summer 2026.
