Four tourism companies from Ireland attended the Global Travel Marketplace (GTM) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to connect with travel advisors. The GTM is a three-day event featuring one-to-one appointments and networking sessions for tourism businesses.

Alison Metcalfe noted that the event offered a platform to present Ireland’s attractions to influential North American professionals. The goal of participation is to secure more tourists for Ireland in 2025 and beyond by enhancing connections with travel professionals.

Participating enterprises included Lough Eske Castle, Luxurious Ireland, O’Donoghue Ring Collection, and The Montenotte Hotel.

Alison Metcalfe shared, “Our presence at this year’s GTM in Florida provided another excellent platform to highlight the many great things to see and do right around Ireland. Events like this provide a valuable opportunity for Tourism Ireland and our partners to connect and network.”
