Tourism Ireland is promoting world-class golf courses at the IAGTO Asian Golf Tourism Convention in Pattaya, Thailand this week together with four golf and tourism operators from Ireland.
Companies engaaged in two days of one-to-one pre-scheduled appointments and networking sessions at the event attended by golf and travel professionals from around the world. Delegates negotiated contracts for 2026 and beyond during the convention.
Tourism Ireland is also participating in other IAGTO conventions this year with the European Golf Convention in Spain in May and the North American Convention in Mexico in June. Adare Manor is hosting the Ryder Cup next year while the Walker Cup is taking place in Lahinch and the Irish Open at Trump International Golf Links in Doonbeg this year.
David Wensley from North and West Coast Links Golf Ireland, Marie Collins from Trump International Golf Links and Hotel Doonbeg, Keith McDonnell from EI Travel Group, Iris Wang from Tourism Ireland and Conor O’Leary from The K Club are attending the event in Pattaya.
