The Trump International Golf Club will be hosting the Amgen Irish Open for the first time from 10-13 September 2026. It is the second time the tournament has been hosted in county Vlare, after Lahinch in 2019.
The Trump Organisation has reportedly invested over €40m into the Doonbeg resort since acquiring it in February 2014.
The course has received several awards, although it has not previously held a major professional event.
Eric Trump shared, “We are incredibly proud that Trump Ireland has been chosen to host the 2026 Amgen Irish Ope. The course is absolutely remarkable, and we are honoured to welcome the DP World Tour, its players, and fans from across the globe.”
