TUI’s 17 cruise ships report a strong April to June with prices up 2pc

TUI Group reported a 2pc increase in cruise prices for its three brands: TUI Cruises, Marella Cruises, and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, as part of its third-quarter results.

The three brands will collectively deploy 17 ships during the summer season, with passenger cruise days expected to rise by 11pc in the fourth quarter following the introduction of Mein Schiff 7 to the fleet in June.

Occupancy rates improved across all three brands, with the Mein Schiff fleet reaching 101pc, Hapag-Lloyd at 78pc, and Marella Cruises at 98pc.

Average daily ticket prices also showed an increase compared to the previous year, with TUI Cruises reporting €207 (up from €191), Hapag-Lloyd at €733 (up from €706), and Marella Cruises at €222 up from €209.
