Damac Group, a UAE real estate company, plans to launch a “luxury airline” named Damac Air, targeting high-profile leisure destinations like Denpasar, Mahé in the Seychelles, and Papeete in Tahiti.

The airline will likely offer upscale holiday packages that encompass flights, accommodations, and local sightseeing, similar to offerings from luxury travel companies like Abercrombie & Kent and Crystal AirCruises.

Specific details regarding the airline’s launch date, aircraft types, and whether the fleet will be chartered or owned have not been disclosed. Promotional materials have featured imagery of a B787-8 in Damac Air branding.

Headquartered in Dubai, DAMAC Properties, led by CEO Hussain Sajwani, is known for its development of a variety of high-end residential, commercial, and leisure properties across the Gulf, the Middle East, the US, and Europe.
