Universal’s theme parks have partnered with Everbloom Games to create a Universal Studios Experience DLC for Minecraft, allowing players to explore attractions from Universal Studios theme parks worldwide.
The Minecraft adventure map includes recreations of rides like Jurassic World – The Ride, Revenge of the Mummy, and Jaws, as well as Back to the Future – The Ride.
Players can complete quests and gather missing letters from the Universal Studios globe, encountering various Universal characters along the way.
Disney recently announced a $1.5bn investment in Epic Games, the creator of Fortnite, to collaborate on new games and expand their entertainment universe. Fortnite offers a platform for Disney to reach a broader audience beyond traditional Disney properties.
