The US National Travel and Tourism Office has revealed 5,846,506 international visitor arrivals to the United States in October 2025, down 5.7pc from October 2024 and at 87.4pc of 2019.
Total overseas arrivals totaled 3,055,342, down 3.1pc. Top sources were Mexico with 1,569,052, Canada 1,222,112, England 426,538, Germany 192,236, and South Korea 172,459.
Top overseas tourism arrivals were England with 371,093, Germany 163,294, South Korea 155,147, France 147,404, Brazil 145,331. Ireland was in 18th place with 57,469.
Business travel arrivals England 54,093, India 42,741, Japan 31,339, Germany 28,237, China 19,398. Student arrivals: China 7,466, India 5,577, South Korea 2,052, Brazil 1,355, England 1,352.
Outbound travel to Europe was up 6.8pc. US citizen departures reached 8,691,389, up 3.3pc from 2024 and 114.2pc of 2019. North America share 49.3pc, overseas 50.7pc. Mexico led with 3,349,020, Europe 1,913,716 up 6.8pc.
