
Viking Octantis is currently in Ushuaia, starting Viking’s inaugural Longitudinal World Cruise, set to conclude in Milwaukee.
The 65-day itinerary covers diverse destinations such as Antarctica, South America, the Caribbean, the Great Lakes, offering 29 guided tours spanning nine countries.
Highlights of the cruise include transits of the Panama Canal and St. Lawrence Seaway, exploration of Antarctica, visits to scenic sites like Cape Horn, Chilean Glaciers, and various ports in South America.
The expedition ship, designed for remote and polar regions, ensures superior handling and stability in different sea conditions, making it the first expedition ship in the Viking fleet when it joined in late 2021.
