Viking river cruises have announced the addition of 10 new Viking Longships to its river fleet, with eight sailing popular itineraries on the Rhine, Main, and Danube rivers, and two on the Seine River. Five of the new vessels will be delivered in 2025, with the remaining five to be delivered in 2026.

The construction of these ships was commemorated by a keel laying ceremony at Neptun Werft shipyard in Rostock, Germany, where all Viking Longships have been built since 2012.

Viking’s fleet of river ships, including the award-winning Viking Longships, offers innovative designs, a wide range of stateroom choices, and energy-efficient features like hybrid propulsion and onboard solar panels.
