Villa Vie Residence’s Villa Vie Odyssey has missed another planned start date and remains at the Harland & Wolff shipyard in Belfast.
A new departure date has not been announced by the cruise line. Previous launch dates were missed from Southampton on May 15, 2024, and subsequently from Belfast on June 21, 2024.
The 1993-built vessel is currently undergoing certification and addressing a rudder stock issue, with no new departure date publicly announced.
Recent updates mention cabin preparations including new TVs, coffee machines, and carpets, as well as light fixture repairs and deep cleanings in the staterooms known as “Villas.”
The Villa Vie Odyssey, offering a unique ownership model for guests to live onboard, is scheduled for a three-and-a-half-year world cruise after being acquired by Villa Vie Residences in December 2023.
