Virgin Voyages delays launch of Brilliant Lady until September 2025

Virgin Voyages is to introduce its fourth ship, the Brilliant Lady, into revenue service delayed slightly to September 2025, sailing from New York City before moving to Alaska for summer 2026.

The ship has been modified to transit the Panama Canal, enabling it to operate in Alaska and other destinations, providing fresh itineraries lasting from 5 to 14 nights for Sailors.

Virgin Voyages’ CEO, Nirmal Saverimuttu, highlighted the company’s commitment to innovation and enhancing guest experiences, with the new itineraries offering greater choice and unique experiences.

The inaugural deployment of the Brilliant Lady includes voyages from New York City to Bermuda and Canada/New England, followed by sailings from Miami, a Panama Canal crossing, Los Angeles, and Seattle for the Alaska programme.
