Visit Wexford aims to disrupt the pattern of visitors choosing other Irish destinations over Wexford, seeking to increase bed nights and the economic impact of tourism in the region.

Key tourism projects discussed at the event included investments like the Curracloe Watersports & Activity Centre, the south east greenway, Forth Mountain activity centre, and the Monck Street retractable roof.

The event was facilitated by MC, Councillor Maura Bell, and featured an interactive Q&A session with speakers, attracting 100 local tourism industry members.

Speaking at the event, Colm Neville, Visit Wexford chairperson, emphasised the importance of linking with Rosslare Europort and their partnership with Visit Savannah in the US.
