WATCH: Frontier airline passenger arrested over exit row disagreement

A Frontier Airlines passenger was allegedly escorted off an aircraft at Charlotte Douglas International Airport following an argument over sitting in the exit row.

Although details of the incident remain unverified, a TikTok video by Travel With Tia and posted on May 9 captured the passenger arguing with other passengers, a flight attendant, and a pilot. Having jokingly said she was not going to look after anyone else, but would look after herself first (“oh, I’m not going to save anybody. If something happens, I’m going to save myself“), a heated argument ensued resulting in her being arrested and escorted off the aircraft.

She said: ‘A problem? What’s the problem? We ain’t got no problem with that. We understand we gotta help people get off the plane and help Betty White if something happens.’

Aviation laws require exit-row passengers to be physically able to assist in emergencies and follow crew instructions.

The woman in the video was eventually escorted off the plane in handcuffs after refusing to comply with the crew’s requests.
