Six cruise ships will transfer to new operators in 2026:
- The former Costa Magica will join Tianjin Oriental International Cruise Line as Ideal and debut in the first quarter. The Ideal (ex-Costa Magica) carries 2,720 passengers and was built in 2004.
- The ex-Norwegian Sky will move to Cordelia Cruises as Cordelia Sky for short cruises from Mumbai in the third quarter. The Cordelia Sky (ex-Norwegian Sky), transferring to Cordelia Cruises, accommodates 2,270 passengers and was built in 1999.
- The 2019-built World Explorer will become Star Explorer under Windstar Cruises after refurbishment and launch year-round European sailings in the third quarter. The Star Explorer (ex-World Explorer), joining Windstar Cruises, has a capacity of 224 at double occupancy.
- The ex-Costa Fortuna heads to Margaritaville at Sea as Beachcomber for a 2027 debut following modernisation. Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber carries 2,720 passengers (with maximum around 3,450) and was built in 2003.
- The former Seabourn Sojourn will operate as Mitsui Ocean Sakura for Mitsui Ocean Cruises in Japan from the third quarter. The Mitsui Ocean Sakura accommodates 450 passengers and was built in 2010.
- The Vestland Adventurer (ex-G Adventures’ Expedition) will join Vestland Classic Cruises as Vestland Adventurer for Northern Europe itineraries in the summer. It holds 134 passengers and was built in 1972.
