The 2024 Aer Lingus College Football Classic (ALCFC) between Georgia Tech and Florida State University will take place in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on August 24th, marking the opening fixture of the 2024 College Football season.
Over 25,000 US fans are expected to arrive in Dublin for the game, with a sell-out crowd of 47,000 tickets sold. Attendees are encouraged to be in their seats by 4:30 pm to enjoy the pre-game spectacle.
Aer Lingus, the title sponsor, will transport both teams, delegations, and equipment to Dublin on special charter flights. The event is more than a game, celebrating football, business links, and culture with various events happening in Dublin from August 21st to 25th.
While game tickets are sold out, fans can still participate in other events happening across the city, including the Global Ireland Football Tournament 2024 (GIFT) at Energia Park and a range of activities and events throughout the week in Dublin. TG4 will broadcast the game in Ireland, a first for the match to be shown on free-to-air TV, while Sky Sports will cover it in England.
