Nearly 700 historic building projects across Ireland will receive support through the Built Heritage Investment Scheme (BHIS) 2026, with €8m allocated for preservation and restoration.
The funding will protect architectural and cultural landmarks, enhancing their appeal as heritage tourism attractions and supporting related visitor experiences.
