Alice Mansergh addressed tourism businesses from across Kerry at the KTIF Tourism Day 2026 event held at The Brehon Hotel, Killarney.
The gathering brought together accommodation providers, visitor attractions, activity operators, hospitality businesses, publicans, and transport services.
Speakers included Fearghal Reidy on infrastructure and sustainable growth, Miriam Kennedy on the Wild Atlantic Way development, Fergal Brosnan on AI and digital transformation, Mike O’Sullivan on global economic conditions, and Billy Keane on the role of publicans.
Discussions focused on sustainability, community resilience, market diversification, long-term competitiveness, and opportunities such as the Ryder Cup 2027.
KTIF, established in 2019, continued to serve as the unified voice for Kerry’s tourism sector through multi-agency collaboration in marketing and development.
Pat O’Leary KTIF Chairperson shared “Tourism in Kerry is not one single sector — it is a network of businesses and communities working together. From international marketing and economic forecasting to innovation and the unique role of our publicans, today’s discussions highlight how every element contributes to the strength of our tourism product. With representation from all regions, chambers and businesses of every scale in the county, KTIF ensures that the voice is unified and influential.”
