The tour starts at the Campanile in Front Square and visits sites such as the Graduate Memorial Building and the Rubrics. It passes the Eavan Boland Library and ends at the Samuel Beckett Theatre where the 60 minute play Oscar Unwritten performs. The production explores Wilde’s life through the perspective of Robbie Ross.
Revenue from ticket sales supports the academic mission of the university including research and conservation. The Samuel Beckett Theatre hosts the show as part of its programme.
Tim Scott shared “We’re excited to bring Oscar Wilde to the Beckett Theatre in our new play, Oscar Unwritten.”
