Viking cruise revenue up 11.4pc as capacity sold reached 95pc for 2024 season

Viking Holdings Ltd reported an 11.4pc increase in total revenue for Q3 2024, driven by higher demand and improved revenue per Capacity Passenger Cruise Day (PCD), with a focus on expanding capacity in key value markets.

The company achieved significant Advance Bookings, with 95pc of its capacity for the 2024 season sold, and 70pc for 2025, indicating strong consumer demand and confidence in its offerings.

Viking’s financial performance showed a substantial turnaround, reporting a net income of $374.8m for the third quarter, compared to a net loss in the same period last year, supported by improved margins and effective cost management.

The airline plans to continue leveraging its operational strengths while expanding its fleet, with ongoing efforts to provide memorable experiences for guests and maintain strong financial results.
