More evidence of the cruise boom: Viking cruises revenue up 18.5pc in April to June

Viking Holdings reported total revenue of $1,880.4m for the second quarter ended June 30, 2025, up 18.5pc from the previous year.

Adjusted EBITDA rose to $632.9m, showing a 28.5pc increase compared to the same period in 2024, driven by higher Capacity Passenger Cruise Days.

The company has sold 96pc of its Capacity Passenger Cruise Days for the 2025 season and 55pc for the 2026 season as of August 10, 2025. Net income reached $439.2m, a significant rise compared to $159.8m in Q2 2024.

Viking’s advance bookings for the 2025 season were $5,638m, reflecting a 21pc increase from the previous year.

Torstein Hagen shared “We delivered another quarter of great results, further underscoring the strength of our business model and of our core guest demographic.”

Leah Talactac shared “Our positive momentum is reflected by the Advance Bookings, with 96pc of our 2025 capacity of our Core Products already sold. We remain committed to growing our business by adding capacity and providing new experiences such as the recent launch of itineraries in India.”
