The Active Cities Dublin Parks & Trails Challenge, initially scheduled for July, has been extended to run through the month of August.

The initiative aims to promote physical activity by encouraging participants to explore local parks and trails in the greater Dublin area.

Participants can enter a draw to win prizes by completing walks in the 24 chosen locations, including 6 in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.

The project involves collaboration between Dublin Sports Partnerships, Local Authorities, Coillte, Dublin Mountain Partnership, and other key partners to raise public awareness of local resources and promote outdoor activity.

This project was funded through the Dormant Accounts Fund and Active Cities. For more information, visit the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Sports Partnership website here or click here to email our Active Cities Officer.
