Adventure Lights returns to Skypark Carlingford for ten weeks from 25 October 2025 to 3 January 2026 following last year’s debut attracting nearly 30,000 visitors boosting the local economy.

The event features over half am lights and 16 displays transforming the park into a winter wonderland with Legends of the Forest theme including new illuminated figures and interactive moments.

Visitors explore a softly lit outdoor trail with glowing installations celebrating adventure and discovery such as the illuminated Ireland’s Ancient East Maze and Skynet at Night under twinkling lights.

The expanded Kids’ Adventure Zone offers free face painting, riddles, hidden secrets, shimmering tunnels, glowing sculptures, stalls with street food, and sweet treats.

Last year’s success extended stays in local hotels and restaurants supporting jobs and businesses on the Cooley Peninsula during winter months.

Edward Fuller, General Manager at Skypark shared “We were overwhelmed by the response to last year’s Adventure Lights. It was incredible to see so many families making memories in Carlingford. This year, we’ve made the experience even more spectacular, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another magical winter adventure.”

Thomas McArdle, CEO of McArdle Adventure Group shared “Adventure Lights is about more than dazzling displays — it’s about creating shared moments for families, friends, and visitors from near and far. Carlingford has always been a place of adventure, and this event celebrates that spirit in a magical new way. We’re proud to see Adventure Lights becoming a highlight of Ireland’s winter calendar.”
