Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel served as the official sponsor and host for the Irish Golf Writers Association Awards luncheon celebrating the achievements of the Ireland golfing elite.
The five-star hotel in the Dublin Docklands welcomed the figures from the world of the golf for the afternoon of the recognition and celebration.
The awards honoured the Masters champion Rory McIlroy who was voted the Men’s Professional of the Year after completing the career Grand Slam and his coach Michael Bannon recipient of the Distinguished Services to Golf award.
Other winners included the Lauren Walsh as the Women’s Professional of the Year, Stuart Grehan as the Men’s Amateur of the Year and Anna Dawson as the Women’s Amateur of the Year acknowledging the last season winners after the cancellation of the 2024 awards.
Golf experiences at the Anantara The Marker Dublin included the Signature Golf Experience with the Royal Dublin Golf Club offering the private chauffeur transfer, personalised orientation, round on the historic links and exclusive Irish whiskey tasting featuring the Bushmills 10-Year-Old Single Malt, Midleton Yellow Spot and Connemara Single Malt.
