

Three Irish restaurants, Ballyfin Demesne in Co Laois, The Morrison Room in Carton House in County Kildare, and Lignum in Bullaun, Co Galway, received stars in the latest Michelin Guide.
allyfin Demesne, opened in 2011, showcases Executive Chef Ricard Picard-Edwards’ focus on seasonal Irish produce, earning high praise from industry peers.
The Morrison Room, near Maynooth in Co Kildare, was recognized for Adam Nevin’s inventive cooking and first-rate ingredients.
Lignum in Bullaun near Loughrea in County Galway received the accolade for chef Danny Africano’s use of wood-fired flavours. Zsolt Lukács from daróg on Lower Dominick Street in Galway City was honoured as a Michelin sommelier for creating a welcoming dining atmosphere.
