An Bord Pleanála has overturned Dublin City Council’s decision to refuse plans for an eight-storey hotel on Capel Street

The city council initially refused planning permission for a reconfigured aparthotel due to concerns about over-concentration of guest accommodation and lack of mixed-use development

The Council planner’s report recommended residential development for the prime city centre site.
