County Fermanagh hosts several chief craft breweries and distilleries that contribute to the local production of beer and spirits. The Boatyard Distillery at Tullybay Marina on the Lough Shore Road near Enniskillen began operations as Fermanagh’s first legal distillery since 1890. It produces gin vodka and other spirits with its chief products including Double Gin Old Tom Gin Sloe Boat Gin and seasonal expressions with a USP in its sustainable practices double distillation method and location on the banks of Lower Lough Erne allowing arrival by boat.
Inishmacsaint Brewing Company also known as Fermanagh Beer Company in Derrygonnelly commenced in 2010 on a farm outside the village. It produces bottle-conditioned beers under the Inishmacsaint and Farmageddon brands with its chief products centring on blonde ales and other styles with a USP in its small-scale farm-based brewing inspired by local history and the landscape near Lough Erne.
Sheelin Brewery in Bellanaleck employs age-old methods to craft artisan Irish beer. Its chief products include traditional styles with a USP in the use of historic brewing techniques in the village setting.
Glenwinny Distillery near Enniskillen functions as a micro distillery. It produces Irish pot still whiskey poitín gin and rum with its chief products centring on these expressions with a USP in its go-against-the-grain approach to small-batch production in the county.
