Conrad Dublin has implemented several key sustainability measures as part of Hilton’s Travel with Purpose program, focusing on significant energy reductions and waste diversion. According to reports from March 2026, these operational changes have contributed to a 5pc reduction in overall energy consumption and a waste diversion rate of over 60pc from landfill.

  • Achieved over 60pc waste diversion through improved segregation and recycling practices.
  • Implemented changes leading to a 5% reduction in total consumption.
  • Provided organisers with tools to track and manage the impact of meetings, including data on energy use, water consumption, and waste.
  • Partnered with Clean The World to collect and recycle used soap and amenity bottles for distribution to vulnerable populations.

A long-term partnership with the Irish organization Hometree supports the restoration of native woodland across Ireland, including a pledge of 200 native trees on behalf of guests. Staff regularly collaborate with Flossie and the Beach Cleaners, removing approximately 45 kilograms of waste from Dublin’s beaches (including Sandymount Strand) since 2022.

The programme also includes initiatives on local biodiversity, working with OpenHive Honey on beekeeping initiatives to support local ecosystems, and knowledge sharing, collaberating with local experts like Thorntons Recycling to refine hotel waste policies based on best practices.
