Cork Airport is set to handle 50,000 passengers this May Bank Holiday Weekend.

In May Ryanair will increase frequencies on services to Alicante, Poznan, and Valencia. Aer Lingus will recommence two seasonal services, with the twice-weekly service to Dubrovnik and three times-weekly service to Palma de Mallorca starting on the 1st of May.

Both services will operate through to September.

Barry Holland communications Manager at Cork Airport said: “As the May Bank Holiday weekend beckons, it’s easy to see that summer is just around the corner. This week, we welcome the resumption of Aer Lingus’ summer services to Dubrovnik and Palma de Mallorca. Ahead of a busy bank holiday weekend, we recommend passengers arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before their flight and to prebook their car parking. For passengers intending to travel over the summer months, I’d strongly recommended to prebook car parking online, where the best value and rates can be found across all three car parks.”
