Corner House Bistro, one of Westmeath’s popular restaurants, is closing down due to high VAT and energy rates.
The owners, Linda and Joe Connolly, expressed their sadness and described it as a sad day for themselves, their 20 staff members, and loyal customers.
The restaurant will close on Saturday, and customers with vouchers are encouraged to visit for refunds before the closure.
