
Cunard’s new cruise ship, the Queen Anne, made its maiden voyage into South Queensferry on the River Forth in Edinburgh, welcomed with a water cannon salute and a local piper on Sunday, May 26.
Rob Mason, head of cruise for Capital Cruising, expressed excitement at the Queen Anne’s arrival, highlighting the significance of Scotland’s cruise business in boosting the economy and supporting local jobs and businesses.
The Queen Anne is currently sailing its 14-night Britain and Ireland Festival Voyage, departing from Southampton and visiting ports in Scotland and Ireland before returning to Southampton on June 7.
The cruise itinerary includes stops in Kirkwall, Invergordon, Greenock (Glasgow), Belfast, Liverpool, and Cork,
