Dalata has agreed to acquire the Radisson Blu Hotel at Dublin Airport for €83m from businessman Alan McIntosh, a co-founder of Cairn Homes.
The Radisson Blu features 229 bedrooms, meeting facilities, and dining options, and will be rebranded as a Clayton hotel, currently valued at €70.5m.
The purchase is subject to approval from the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission and is expected to finalize in the first half of 2025, coinciding with the expiration of Dalata’s Maldron hotel license in January 2026.
Dalata perceives Dublin as a pivotal growth area and aims to strengthen its hotel presence near Terminal 2, benefiting airport travelers and the surrounding local economy.
