
Dalata Hotel Group will open its first hotel in Spain in Madrid in 2029. The new 4-star Clayton hotel will feature 243 bedrooms and various facilities, including a restaurant, bar, outdoor pool, and gym.
Located in Valdebebas close to Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, Europe’s fifth busiest, it is key for boosting hotel stays in the area.
Dalata plans to operate the hotel under a 15-year lease with options for extensions, refplicating its strategy in other European gateway cities.
Revenue growth for Dalata reached €652m, with additional hotels planned for London and Edinburgh by 2028.
The acquisition of Radisson Blu Hotel Dublin Airport remains subject to a detailed review by the CCPC and is waiting for a final decision.
The pipeline of over 1,800 rooms also includes Maldron Hotel Croke Park, Dublin and Clayton Hotel St Andrew Square, Edinburgh.
