Killarney Brewing & Distilling Company is up for sale. The company ceased trading in April after launching in 2015 with a taproom in Killarney and expansion to a brewery in Fossa in 2022.
The 62,000 square foot brewery, distillery, and visitor centre in Fossa cost €24m with funding from €12m in investors including from the US.
The site spans 4.2 acres on the Ring of Kerry road with a kitchen, bar, restaurant for 260 covers, 250-seat gala space, café, gift shop, and rooftop terrace.
Last year the company raised €3.5m short of a €7m target before liquidation with James Anderson of Deloitte Ireland as liquidator.
Selling agents Tom Spillane and Co in Killarney and Cushman and Wakefield in Dublin handle the asset sale.
