Disney Cruise Line has confirmed the Disney Wish as the first Wish-class ship to sail in Europe during the 2027 summer season from 25 April to 10 September.
The 140,000-ton vessel, built in 2022 at Meyer Werft, will depart from Southampton in England, Barcelona in Spain and Civitavecchia in Italy for Mediterranean and Northern Europe itineraries. After an Atlantic crossing, it starts from Southampton, moves to Barcelona in May for Mediterranean sailings, then returns to Southampton in mid-July for Northern Europe before heading back to North America.
The ship currently runs year-round short cruises to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral, visiting Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay. Disney also plans two ships in Alaska for 2027 with the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic from Vancouver. The Disney Dream replaces the Wish on Bahamas routes from Port Canaveral in summer, while the Disney Treasure, Disney Fantasy and Disney Destiny sail Caribbean and Bahamas itineraries from Port Canaveral and Port Everglades.
