Aircoach bus service is facing disruptions due to a shortage of drivers in the industry.
The company has been forced to cancel several services on the 700, 701, and 702 routes connecting Dublin Airport to north Wicklow and south Dublin, leading to service interruptions and inconveniences for passengers. The cancellations were attributed to a temporary driver shortage.
A total of 33 services on the Dublin to Wicklow routes were cancelled recently, with issues arising from driver roster changes implemented last month, leading to recruitment efforts to rectify the situation.
Despite the challenges with cancelled journeys, Aircoach has expanded its services over the summer, responding to customer demand with additional journeys on various routes, including Dublin to Greystones, introducing new stops and more frequent services to enhance their network and customer experience.
