EasyJet has extended the dry-lease contracts for all ten A319-100 aircraft from Dublin based Aergo Capital to support its near-term fleet requirements during the transition to new technology aircraft.

The A319-100s on lease are of 2008 vintage and have been operated by easyJet since new, with four currently under the easyJet UK AOC and six under the easyJet Europe AOC.

In addition to the A319s, easyJet operates a fleet of 179 A320-200s, 69 A320-200Ns, and 16 A321-200NX aircraft, with plans to replace all A319s with new-generation aircraft, including 131 A320neo and 168 A321neo with deliveries scheduled through 2034.

Despite delivery delays and supply chain constraints, easyJet has not cited any specific impacts on its fleet plan. The airline’s A320neo and A321neo aircraft are powered by CFM International LEAP-1A engines.
