Emirates will purchase five A380-800s currently dry-leased from Doric Asset Finance at the end of their leases in Q4 2024 for USD200m.
The aircraft, delivered in 2012, include A6-EDX, A6-EDY, A6-EDZ, A6-EEB, and A6-EEC, leased to Emirates for 12 years.
The transaction will take place between October 1 and November 30, 2024, and the aircraft will be sold to Emirates.
Doric Nimrod Air Two Limited, the SPV owning the aircraft, will be liquidated after the sale, with proceeds expected to be distributed to shareholders in 2025.
