
Dublin Airport is anticipating a record summer with10m passengers projected to travel through the airport this season.
Aiprort MD Gary McLean showcased improvements geared towards the influx of families at an event in the airport, including 420 added seats at boarding gates and 350 more in pre-security areas.
The airport has introduced entertainment options such as a teen gaming zone, enhancing the travel experience for younger passengers.
Changes in security measures include the implementation of advanced C3 scanners, which allow passengers to keep laptops and liquids in their bags, with full replacement expected by October.
Kenny Jacobs shared aspirations for new direct flights to several international destinations, expressing optimism that services to Brazil and India could be established within two years.
