Filming for the German televevision series Wunderschön has taken place along the Wild Atlantic Way, showcasing iconic Irish locations.
Key locations included Doolin, Cliffs of Moher, Hazel Mountain Chocolate, Dunguaire Castle Galway, Micil Distillery Salthill, Connemara ponies, Irish Dance Experience, Achill Island and Westport House. The episode will be broadcasted on WDR in Germany.
Nadine Lehmann of tourism Ireland in Germany shared: “Publicity and broadcasts like this are a key element of Tourism Ireland’s programme of activity to inspire travellers about what Ireland has to offer for a holiday in 2025 and beyond. It’s a wonderful opportunity to showcase the landscapes, experiences and characters which make Ireland and the Wild Atlantic Way such a great place to visit.
